NONNO ANTONIO COOKED WINE: The Authentic Tradition of Abruzzo

Discover the Vino Cotto Nonno Antonio, an artisanal masterpiece that embodies the Abruzzo winemaking tradition. Produced with Montepulciano grapes, this unique wine stands out for its traditional winemaking method and its charming character.

Smell and Taste

Vino Cotto Nonno Antonio has an amber yellow color, evocative of warmth and richness. On the nose, it offers a complex and elegant bouquet, with intense hints of raisins, walnut husk, dried figs, carob and liquorice. On the palate, it is full, warm and persuasive, with an extraordinarily long persistence that envelops the senses and makes every sip a memorable experience.

Vinification and Maturation

This wine is produced through a traditional method which involves cooking the must over direct heat, adding fresh must and fermentation in oak barrels. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 20°C, followed by maturation in the same barrels, thus guaranteeing a rich and well-structured flavour.
