Italy, rich in biodiversity, has the world record for the number of varieties of monofloral honey and Coriander Honey is among those considered rare. This special variety is produced by bees through the flowers of the Coriandrum sativum plant, the same one from which the spice widely used in cooking is also obtained. However, honey has a very different flavor from seeds and plant parts, and is appreciated in pastry making for the preparation of nougat thanks to its pleasant smell.

Uses at the Table: Coriander Honey is an excellent table honey, perfect for pairing with mature cheeses. It is an ideal sweetener for teas and infusions and is often used in the preparation of nougats.
